Marver the (open) cylinder into more of a round shape |

Starting to neck-down the open end of the cylinder |

Going to knock off the button on the end |

It's hot! -- Let's marver it a little bit more into shape |

A gather of clear glass will form the pedestal of the piece |

Paddle the lip (top of the piece) flat |

Now flaring out the lip of the piece |
