Below is my "out of the box" (or should I say "out of the block?!") glass art lamp.
The top of the lamp is half of a wood glassblowing mold, which was used as a block to make the glass you see in the photo.
You can see part of the glassblowing mold's hinge mechanism on the top left of the photo.
The bottom of the lamp is a tree which had to be taken down from the yard this year, chainsaw marks and all.
