Urban Glass is a not-for-profit organization that operates out of a 17,000 square-foot third-floor studio.
(The vast majority of "hot shops" are on ground-floor concrete slabs).
Urban Glass has an especially high ceiling (the roof) which helps keep the studio cooler since the heat rises.
I had the pleasure of taking the photos below on the morning of April 27, 2007 - the day that Urban Glass celebrated its 30th Anniversary!
