| Additional Information: Alfred has one of the oldest and largest glass programs in the United States. Approximately eighty undergraduate and four graduate students currently use our massive facility. We have three full time faculty and offer a complete list of glass offerings including glass blowing, neon, casting, fusing, bending, grinding and polishing. Our facility currently has a two thousand pound capacity continuous melt furnace for clear glass, a 1200 pound capacity furnace for colored glass, three large glory holes and twenty annealing ovens, all computer controlled. | ||
