| Additional Information: Gallery hours are listed below and the hot shop runs September through April. Classes are offered year-round for bead making, flame working, fusing and slumping. Our hot shop offers a paperweight making class and a Blow Your Own Ball (BYOB), where visitors can make their own holiday ornament. Our gallery is free and open to the public. The gallery features the glass art of Ed and Barbara Streeter (owners), Joe Mattson, and Wayne Fitzgerald. Our studio/gallery space is located in a renovated livery stable in historic downtown Conway, South Carolina. Pop’s features the glass art created by owners Barbara & Ed Streeter. We make blown glass vessels, bowls and vases, flame worked and fused jewelry, glass sculpture, mosiacs, fused glass plates and stained glass windows. We also accept commissions for Pop’s is just 12 miles from Myrtle Beach and 150 feet from the scenic Waccamaw River. Our studio/gallery is within walking distance of fine restaurants, terrific galleries, unique shops, antique stores and the Waccamaw Riverwalk. Flameworking the Glass Bead - Every Tuesday in July & August, 11am - 2pm (1 Day Workshop) The mystical combination of fire and glass is captured in the ancient art of flame working. Glass is melted in the heat of the torch and wound around a steel man Slumping & Fusing - Every Thursday in July & August, 11am - 2pm (2 weeks) This class is all about designing, slumping and fusing glass. Learn all about COE’s and temperature control. Your project is a bowl designed by you using Bullseye tested com Art Walk - Pop’s Glass Station Studio & Gallery will join in the fun as downtown Conway salutes creativity with Saturday Art Walks. The first Saturday of every month 10am - 5pm is Art Walk in downtown Conway. Free Glass Blowing Demonstrations - Watch as local glass artists create stunning objects from molten glass.
