Happy New Year!  I hope your semester is off to a fantastic start!

 

I am hoping that you can share with your students information about our
upcoming happenings here at Salem Community College.  We have some very
exciting events on the schedule here!

 

International Flameworking Conference, March 24-26, 2017

We have a great lineup this year!  Our featured artist is Amber Cowan!

Student price: $35 before February 24th/$50 after

Salem Summer Workshop Series

If you have not already, could you please let your students know about our
one week intensive workshops this summer.  Information for the workshops can
be found by clicking the workshop tab at www.salemcc.edu/glass.

Tradition: Experimental Glass

 

 

-June 19th- 23rd

-Dennis Briening, Scientific Flameworking for the Artist

-Wes Valdez, kiln casting, Kiln Kinesiology 10: Kinetic Casting

 

 

June 26th-30th

-Dennis Briening, Lathe Intensive

 

Registration is open.  The classes are very reasonably priced from $650-$850
for the week.  We have a great deal with a new Marriott hotel which has a
small kitchen in each room, a patio with a pool and a grill, and stores and
restaurants nearby.  The hotel information is up on our website as well.

If any of your students have any questions have them send them my way.
