As you know by now, <font color="#ff6600"><b>Hot Soup</b></font>,
Philadelphia's first public-access glassblowing hot shop, is closing on
March 16, 2008.<br>

I attended Hot Soup's celebratory last "First Friday" festivities on
Friday March 7, 2008 and documented them (photos and short videos) on

While you might expect a number of interesting things when a large
group of glassblowers get together,<br>
there were a couple things which stand out in my mind:<br>
<ul>
<li>glassblowing while wearing high heels</li>
<li>working on a glass piece that was SO LARGE that the spiral wrap
was applied directly from a large LADLE!<br>
</li>
