All of the jack handles are made of 304 stainless steel.
They are provided with either stiff a flex or a regular
flex. The stainless steel construction gives the tool a lifetime
rust free surface and this tough durable material
keeps ther spring in the hinge at a constant tension with
maximum adjustability. There are four different styles of
jack blades available, 3/4. flat, 1/2. flat, 1/4. round, and
5/16. x 5/32. oval. All of the blade styles are available in
a 7. or 10. length. The blades are all made of 304 stainless steel with the exception of the ovals which are made of mild
steel. The stainless steel construction of these blades makes them strong for their weight and also resistant in addition to
the rust free quality of this material. The 3/4. flat blade is the ideal tool for paperweight makers because the thin width
allows the maker to maintain a flat surface at the base of the weight minimizing the neeed for grinding. It is also very
abrasion resistant so it will outlast other flat blades. The oval blades are the best tool for opening pieces with long tight
necks. It has the narrowest profile when closed of all of theses jacks and tapers to a point to allow entry inot the tightest
openings.
