As a follow-up to that, this afternoon I received this information from the
Chicago Glass Collective.

Using the lost wax casting process, learn the tricks and tips of how to
successfully create one-of-a-kind, kiln cast textile-based pieces in glass.
The results of this workshop are truly unique, and you'll walk away with a
piece that presents itself as a beautifully delicate vision. 


At least six months of kilncasting or equivalent experience required;
knowledge of knitting a plus, but not required. 

 

Workshop fee includes firings, cold working, and an additional materials fee
($50 value) which includes glass, wax and plaster. (Limit 8 participants)
