You may recall earlier www.glassblower.info PA-NJ emails during 2012 about
Boyd Sugiki

teaching at Pittsburgh Glass Center, East Falls Glassworks, and also
live-streamed demonstration at CMOG.

GlassRoots is thrilled to welcome BOYD SUGIKI back to Newark! On January
31 and February 1, BOYD SUGIKI will teach a two-day master glassblowing
workshop on tumblers and bowls.

Tumblers and Bowls

Refine your skills and increase your confidence by focusing on the tumbler
and bowl.

These two deceptively simple forms contain a wealth of skill building
information. Discover how to form the glass by utilizing your heat
effectively. Working efficiently, creating thinner pieces and building
confidence will be the goals of the course, as instruction is personalized
and detailed to your level of experience. Glassblowing experience required.

About the Artist

Hawaii. He has a BFA from California College of Arts and Crafts, and a MFA

exhibiting his work, he has taught extensively throughout the United States

from 9 AM to 5 PM. Registration for the two day workshop is $400, which
